More amazing news for our Staeger team. Last month we were one of the 226 companies that were awarded with The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. These awards are given for outstanding achievement by UK businesses who are invested in innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a prestigious award for UK based companies that are given out by Her Majesty. The award started as The Queen’s Awards for Export in 1965. This amazing award has been around almost 60 years and we are proud to be part of it.
Staeger’s work with innovating recycled PET has given a new lease of life on clear plastic packaging. This also ties in with our work with POP (Prevented Ocean Plastic). Our work has allowed us to support the NHS during the Coronavirus Pandemic by producing PPE. All of our PPE was made from the very plastic that we are celebrating.
We are only a quarter of the way through the year and we can’t wait to see what else lies ahead for us at Staeger with our recycled ocean waste plastic.
