Prevented Ocean Plastic is a recycled plastic collected from coastal areas ( South East Asia) at risk of ocean plastic pollution. This ocean-bound plastic, according to the academic definition, would likely end up in the ocean if not collected for recycling.
The Prevented Ocean Plastic programme is a global recycling initiative which helps tens of thousands of people around the world to earn a living, clean the coastlines and prevent ocean plastic.
We are so impressed by this initiative we are now using this Ocean recycled PET to make our visors, hopefully providing demand to ensure that the oceans are less polluted into the future.
