Each plastic that we deal with has unique properties and our understanding of these materials enables us to offer expert advice whatever your packaging requirements.

RPET (recycled Polyethylene terephthalate)

  • Excellent clarity
  • Suitable for direct food contact
  • Contains a minimum of 50% post consumer waste (used soft drinks bottles)
  • Easily recyclable
  • Lower carbon footprint than virgin materials
  • No discernable difference between RPET and Virgin PET
  • Can be printed and foil blocked

As our commitment to reduce the impact on the environment, Staeger Clear Packaging now produces over 90% of its packaging in RPET.

APET (Amorphous Polyethylene terephtalate)

  • Excellent clarity
  • Suitable for direct food contact
  • Easily recyclable
  • Can be printed and foil blocked

PP (Polypropylene) 

  • Available in many finishes
  • Resistant to oils and chemicals
  • 100% recyclable
  • Inert waste, can be burnt or added to landfill without risk of toxic substances harming the environment
  • 35% lighter than PET or PVC.
  • Resistant to fatigue, ideal for hinges on our packaging lids
  • Can be printed and foil blocked
